Amortization expense relating to intangible assets was $1.4 million for the three months ended MarchÌý31, 2016 and is recognized in Cost of goods sold and operating expenses in the Statements of Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Operations. Amortization expense relating to intangible assets was $1.1 million for the comparable period in 2015. The estimated amortization expense relating to intangible assets for the remainder of this year and each of the five succeeding years is as follows:

The below-market sales contract is classified as a liability and recognized over the term of the underlying contract, which expires December 31, 2016. For the three months ended MarchÌý31, 2016 and MarchÌý31, 2015, there were no Product revenues related to the below-market sales contract due to the timing of the Great Lakes shipping season. The remaining $23.1 million is estimated to be recognized in Product revenues during the remainder of 2016.
