Collaborating on Design

星空传媒 Tubular Components and MSR have been leveraging the Company鈥檚 thin wall, High Chrome Stainless Steel tube making capabilities to MSR鈥檚 advantage. For example, the teams have been collaborating on all new, High Chrome, custom-designed 鈥渟hop mufflers鈥� for the 滨狈顿驰颁础搁鈥檚 driven by MSR championship drivers Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud.

Winning Results

Used to reduce noise levels during maintenance, the new shop mufflers are 30% lighter, and their High Chrome content defends well against heat tint.  The results are greater durability and easier handling, eliminating muffler oxidation and improving ergonomics for a hard-working crew of racecar technicians.

Modern vehicles use a variety of structural components to protect passengers and internal systems. In the event of a collision, you want the structural components to absorb energy and/or deform in a controlled and predictable way.

Cliffs鈥� Steel Tubes As Reinforcement 鈥� known as C-STAR鈩� protection 鈹� when used in combination with structural components, contributes to the ability for structural components to absorb energy and/or deform in a more controlled and predictable way.
